As a scientific illustrator, whether the subject is a flowering succulent, coyote skull, or shore crab, I use careful analysis to translate essential features into accurate and refined works of art that are engaging and informative. With a passion for both art and biology, I am influenced by the enigmatic and beautiful aspects of nature, which inspire human inquiry, ingenuity and creativity. I believe art plays an invaluable role in learning about the world around us.
